How it works
Sync Licensing
Synchronization licensing, or “sync” licensing, is a legal agreement between a music copyright owner and a third party that allows the third party to use the music in a visual media project. This can include use in TV shows, films, advertisements, video games, and more.
Make A Mark Records, Inc. has partnered with the amazing Shelly Bay Music to provide all your sync placement needs. We can offer, shop and obtain sync placements for independent artists via Shelly Bay Music because we have an exclusive sync licensing deal with them. As an independent artist you cannot obtain a deal with them, they are way too busy to do that. We can offer you major label placement opportunities via our company. Do Not pass this up. Sync licensing is the golden ticket in generating revenue for independent artists.
DO NOT contact Shelly Bay directly or you will not be considered for placements!

4 step process
- Fill out the form to see if you are eligible.
- If your music is eligible you will receive a payment link ($100) for your music to be reviewed with feedback
- You will now have the option to upload up to 5 tracks
- Once we receive your tracks, we will review the music and get back to you with feedback and next steps.
You must own 100% of master’s and be able to rep 100% of publishing if you do not own 100% of it.
